Silver heart pendant with red spinel | Hammered heart necklace | Handmade sterling silver jewellery
Handmade sterling silver heart pendant with a 4mm bright red spinel stone.
The heart had been hammered to achieve a textured finish, and is 23mm across, 17.9mm high and 1.1mm thick.
Spinels are beautiful stones - they were confused with rubies (well, the pink and red ones were!) until the 1800s, but they are now classed as spinels.
This would make a perfect gift for a loved one, bridesmaid or a gift to yourself.
It was handmade from scratch by me in my studio in Mount Hawthorn, Western Australia.
